Married in Booyeembara Park
A circle of love
Every person who came to our wedding ceremony loved how Ishara created a warm and friendly atmosphere. She was truly amazing and looked beautiful as well. Ishara incorporated rituals such as hand washing, four elements, handfasting and ring gifting. Our guests told us it was really interesting to watch and totally ‘us’.
Most of all we wanted to create a happy and fun vibe. Ishara was the perfect choice for us- a meaningful personalized ceremony which captured our fun loving spirits.
Beach wedding at Mullaloo Beach
We always wanted a very intimate outdoor ceremony with close family and friends.
Ishara’s experience, knowledge and recommendations helped us get there. She not only made suggestions on potential wedding locations, but also helped us with our wedding vows, making sure that those were align in tone and kept in secret until the moment we made our promises to each other on the ceremony. From the moment we messaged her enquiring assistance, through the time we first sat down with her till the end of our ceremony she showed dedication and professionalism. We could not have asked for a better celebrant and a more joyful ceremony. Would highly recommend her

Alfresco lunchtime wedding in Rockingham
I would recommend Ishara in a heartbeat!! Her warmth, professionalism and knowledge assured us right up to the reception, and her tailor made service reflected this the whole way through.
She listened to our ideas and offered a lot of helpful and well thought of ideas, as well as positive experience. Adding her warmth and serenity to every word and deed, she captured us perfectly and added magic to our moment.
Thank you Ishara, you truly are a blessing xox
Ex-patriot Indians choose a non-traditional wedding in Australia
Ishara went way above and beyond to fulfill our needs. Ours was a little difficult situation where we were waiting for my husband’s parents visa to be approved from India so they could attend our wedding in Australia. My husband and I wanted to keep our wedding experience very simple and non-traditional way. We kept Ishara in the loop from the get-go as to what our situation is and the kind of uncertainty we are into to finalize the wedding date.
Ishara not only understood our situation but also had been continually supportive and made every possible effort to keep us going forward and provide her best availability when we were ready to finalize our wedding date.
Finally, we were able to go ahead with our wedding on May 28th and our whole experience met our expectations. Thank you for your services, generosity, and kind support, Ishara.
Sincerely appreciated by both of us and our families!
Married at the Trade Winds Hotel in Fremantle WA
Ishara assisted both of us in planning and making our wedding the most perfect day. Her calming and peaceful nature was something that we both appreciated so very much and allowed us to feel confident and comfortable from the day we started planning the ceremony to the day when we ‘went live’ and put it all into practice in front of our friends and family. Because of Ishara’s spiritual beliefs and her acceptance and non-judgement, she was the perfect person to facilitate our ceremony that contained many symbolic rituals relating to shedding the all of the crap from our respective past lives and relationships and starting a new fabulous chapter together.
Both of us would not change a thing about our ceremony or wedding and Ishara was a major factor in making this the perfect day.
I would recommend Ishara as the ‘WA CELEBRANT OF CHOICE !’…
Thank you Ishara for everything you did to help us, and for being such an authentic, beautiful soul.
Intimate wedding with two witnesses
Thanks for being our celebrant on Sunday. You made our wedding a very memorable occasion and put together a fabulous ceremony that incorporated all the elements we wanted. Although we only had a tiny wedding, we wanted it to be meaningful and you certainly achieved that. I highly recommend you for anyone looking for a professional and intuitive celebrant.
Naming ceremony in Whiteman Park
From start to finish Ishara made my family and I feel comfortable. I especially was overwhelmed and as soon as she introduced the ceremony and made us feel the wind and take in the surroundings I felt at ease. Ishara is such a calm and beautiful spirit and we loved her being at the naming ceremony. Guests commented on how nice and professional she was. I hope to have her as our celebrant for our wedding. Thank you very much Ishara for such an amazing day it wouldn’t have been as special without you.

My wife and I would like to thank Ishara for all of her help and assistance on and before our wedding day. During meetings with Ishara, everything was so clearly explained and followed up with detailed emails covering all that was required. We asked for advice on a number of items and value the feedback received. The wedding day was a great success and we have had a lot of positive comments from all of the guests. Wedding in Manning Park (near Fremantle)
Thank You Ishara.
We loved our whole experience….. from the cute little caravan office to the amazing ceremony. The way Ishara helped us through the process of choosing the elements we would like to include in our ceremony with the suggestion cards and her knowledge of the rights/ ritual and customs made it very easy to create our fantastic wedding ceremony and her very Professional and confident delivery of the ceremony was fantastic. We could not have asked for more, our guests all commented on how moving, expressive, witty and different our ceremony was. It was a lovely touch to get a copy of the ceremony in with our marriage certificate.

Tenth Anniversary Renewal of Vows at Burns Beach
Ishara helped my wife & I renew our vows recently after 10 happy years of marriage and also carried out a naming ceremony for our 2 year old daughter.
From the initial contact via email; the planning meeting; the emails back and forth to arrange the details and finally the ceremony itself, Ishara worked out exactly what we wanted and provided it to us in a sincere, friendly and professional manner.
Ishara’s experience and thorough knowledge of all the different possibilities allowed us to personalise our ceremony and make it something special for our family and friends who attended. Something that we will never forget. Ishara was able to provide many items to complement the ceremony and add to the experience for the day.
Finally, when our next baby is ready for a naming ceremony, we won’t hesitate to contact Ishara to help with that too.

Naming ceremony incorporating Unitarian Universalist blessing/dedication
Dear Ishara,
Thank you for conducting such a beautiful and very personalised naming ceremony for our daughter, Jessica on the 19th January 2014.
We had such positive feedback from our family and friends, that it was the first naming ceremony that was truly unique and actually celebrated the arrival of Jessica into our community, rather than just the other boring ‘stock and barrel’ naming ceremonies that they had been too. Your attention to detail and suggestions during the planning process, as well as happily incorporating our ‘Rose Ceremony’ request was really appreciated and truly made our beautiful little girl’s day special. Thank you 🙂
Kind Regards, Richard, Bernadette and of course, Jessica

Rottnest Wedding
Thank you, Ishara, for designing and delivering a beautiful, meaningful and magical wedding ceremony for us yesterday. Miranda and I honestly loved it, enjoyed it and found it really spoke for our love and our commitment to one another. And our guests enjoyed it immensely, too – even the Rotto garbo, uninvited, but who waited to empty the bins till we’d finished!
Miranda and I both agree that it simply couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much Ishara.
Blessings to you from us.

She made our day special, and although the weather was very unpredictable, Ishara handled our requests well. Thank you.

We were super thrilled to have Ishara as our wedding celebrant. From start to finish she made us feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. We felt like she really understood our needs and with the pre-meeting we had, put together a unique and meaningful ceremony. Ishara’s warm welcoming nature was well appreciated during the rehearsal due to pre-ceremony jitters. We had the most amazing ceremony, one we will have fond memories for years to come. Thank you Ishara for your professionalism and creating such a beautiful ceremony for us both!

Family Wedding at Amarillo Cottage – Karnup, WA 2011
Neil and I found Ishara wonderful to deal with for our wedding, she is so down to earth and very organised reminding me of things I hadn’t even thought of. The lead up to the ceremony was very stress free with Ishara and the actual ceremony was more beautiful and appropriate for us as a couple than I could have imagined, she listened to everything that was important to us and incorporated it all into a lovely ceremony.
Thank you so much Ishara for marrying us in a ceremony we will treasure forever.

Married at Araluen Botanic Park, Armadale Western Australia – March 2011
The ceremony was beautifully written and was everything we wanted it to be. We loved the suggestion that we include the members of our family in the ceremony as it made the day even more special, as family is very important to us.
Sophie & Robert’s Wedding at the Arch Monument – Cottesloe Beach, May 2010
I think Ishara offers a very unique service: a very non commercial, non traditional, simple approach. She puts a lot of thoughts in the ceremony. Her text is lovely and well written.
I like her office, her calm and relaxed attitude. She had a very open mind attitude towards what we wanted and made helpful suggestions. For me her office felt like a haven after being confronted with expectations from some relatives of a “big production” wedding.”

Dear Ishara,
Thank you SO SO much for our beautiful wedding ceremony. It was amazing. Most of our guests were moved to tears and we are still being told that our ceremony was the “best” ceremony they had been too. We cant thank you enough for all you did for us Ishara, you truly are a beautiful soul.

“Absolutely fabulous the ceremony was above and beyond our expectations and was a truly beautiful day. Ishara provided guidance but also allowed us and other guests to provide input without hinderance. The ceremony did not feel rushed. Time was not a factor we and all our guests loved the day. The ceremony even converted a very religious catholic mother who thought it was great. Thank you Ishara and we will be back to you soon for another ceremony ”

Wedding for Vanessa & Mike – Harold Boas Gardens, West Perth, July 2009
Ishara was extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional..
Our wedding was great. We had friends helping with ceremony and Ishara spoke to them all and prompted them when it was their turn to speak everything went very smoothly. It was a very simple low key ceremony, just the way we wanted it.
“We didn’t know much about wedding ceremonies. Ishara showed us basic templates and different ideas. She made it very easy for us to make our wedding unique and personal.”
“We both really enjoyed our wedding it was just how we wanted it. Lots of our guests have said what a lovely ceremony it was and some commented it was the best wedding they had been to. I wholeheartedly recommend Circles of Blessing. Thanks Ishara. We had a great day.”

Blessing Circle for Coralie – July 2009
“Hi Ishara,
The Mumma Blessing was a fabulous way for women to show on an emotional level how much they care and to display enthusiasm for such a special event. It was fun to participate in and enjoyed by all, especially the Mumma to Be. Women were all impressed by your open manner and accepting insights to both birthing and motherhood and how there is not just one way to do things – greatly appreciated!!
Lots of love to you and thanks for a fun night!”
Rebecca
Coralie was in the final weeks of her first pregnancy when her friend Rebecca approached me about holding a Pregnant Mama Blessing Circle for her. Coralie was also intending to have a baby shower which would be a larger social affair, and the idea of the Blessing Circle event was that it would be a more intimate circle of women friends, including her own mother. The Blessing Circle was held in one of Coralie’s friends’ houses, and all the women who came contributed to the cost of the evening.
Name-giving & Blessing Ceremony for Anisha – Duncraig, June 2009
“Ishara was very forthcoming, approachable and friendly and responded effectively to our needs.
Ishara has an amazing skill in compiling a truly unique naming ceremony. She provided resources of different religious and spiritual teachings so that the ceremony became meaningful to our family. She also espressed thoughts and feelings that we just mentioned in the interview but were not really aware of that this is relevant for us to express.”
The ceremony gave as a new depth and connection to our friends who attended the naming ceremony of our child.”

Remarrying – Each other! South Fremantle, Western Australia
We found Ishara sensitive to our attitude to the wedding ceremony but prepared to bring up new ideas that we hadn’t thought of ourselves. We were very glad to find the ceremony so meaningful even though informal. We were impressed with the amount of research Ishara did to provide suitable readings.
I would certainly recommend Ishara as a celebrant as she is sympathetic, tactful, and adaptable, and in our experience can make what was expected to be a fairly straightforward ceremony into a momentous and touching occasion.
Mary and Charlie were getting married again, to each other, after a divorce and 20 years of living independently
on either side of the globe. Charlie had stayed on in Western Australia to follow his career as an archaeologist, while Mary had gone back to her native England to live and work as a freelance editor. With children and then grandchildren connecting them, Mary and Charlie had maintained a friendship across the years, and were ready to try living together again…
Union ceremony for Michelle and Brandon – Hamilton Hill, Fremantle, March 2009
“We liked that Ishara had such a calm presence, weddings are such stressful events so to have some with a professional and peaceful presence was a bonus!!
Guests were delightfuly suprised by the meaningfulness of ceremony especially in light of our choice to not be ‘legally married’. The handfasting part of the ceremony was an
especially lovely touch.
Ishara put together a ceremony that we felt represented us and the overall experience was very special.”

Recommended by a friend
I asked Ishara to help me with my wedding. She provided us with practical suggestions and gave creative input into how we could augment the ceremony with our own personal symbolism.
Being a blended family and marrying later in life (our respective children were 10 and 12 at the time); we wanted them to be part of the ceremony and honour their place in our lives. Ishara helped to create a beautiful moment where we both gave vows of love and dedication to our step children. This made an impression on all our friends and family and helped to unite us as a whole, healing the disparate aspects of our pasts. At all times Ishara was very sensitive to both our points of view.
On the day she helped to ‘hold the energy’ and to weave the magic we wanted for our wedding.
One gift of advice that I cherish from Ishara is that ‘you are not alone in marriage’. She encouraged me to seek the council and support of friends and family in times of worry and made a personal commitment to be there for ‘us’ if we were finding life difficult. It is the sense that marriage is an ongoing experience that changes and grows as people do. Making a vow in public to be married together, strengthens the bond between the couple, giving them a tangible point of reference. It is the significance of this bond that I believe Ishara communicates so well.

Naming ceremony for a brother & sister
Ishara recently performed a naming ceremony for my two young children,
Samson and Matilda. The ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, and
Ishara spoke with resonance and composure.
The ceremony was put together in such a way that involved all who attended. A friend remarked she had attended other naming ceremonies that were just “someone at the front talking.” Ishara surpassed this by including not just myself and Andy, (my partner), but also grandparents, great grandparents, aunties, uncles and friends.
We met with Ishara on two occasions before the ceremony. She took great care in finding out how we wanted the ceremony to proceed, by providing various prayers, quotes and suggestions. Her manner was professional and warm.
Everyone who attended remarked on how unique and moving the ceremony was. My sister in law also commented that Ishara “let everyone have their space.”
Thank you Ishara for providing this service for us, it is an occasion that we will remember and cherish.
Sincerely,
Elissa M.
