Married by the river in Guildford WA

Kirsty & Jason with IsharaIshara was the perfect celebrant for our wedding day, we wanted things to be a little different from the typical ceremony and she had plenty of great ideas and advice.  She has a wonderful way with words and our wedding script was touching, meaningful and inspired.  Thank you Ishara.

Naming ceremony incorporating Unitarian Universalist blessing/dedication

Dear Ishara,
Civil Celebrant Ishara conducts Naming & Blessing Ceremony for baby girl

Thank you for conducting such a beautiful and very personalised naming ceremony for our daughter, Jessica on the 19th January 2014.

We had such positive feedback from our family and friends, that it was the first naming ceremony that was truly unique and actually celebrated the arrival of Jessica into our community, rather than just the other boring ‘stock and barrel’ naming ceremonies that they had been too. Your attention to detail and suggestions during the planning process, as well as happily incorporating our ‘Rose Ceremony’ request was really appreciated and truly made our beautiful little girl’s day special. Thank you 🙂

Kind Regards, Richard, Bernadette and of course, Jessica

The service was perfect. We didn’t have time to do a rehearsal but Ishara was so calm and guided us through the ceremony. It was an amazing day and it couldn’t have been more wonderful. Thank you!!

Rottnest Wedding

“Thank you, Ishara, for designing and delivering a beautiful, meaningful and magical wedding ceremony for us yesterday. Miranda and I honestly loved it, enjoyed it and found it really spoke for our love and our commitment to one another. And our guests enjoyed it immensely, too – even the Rotto garbo, uninvited, but who waited to empty the bins till we’d finished!

Miranda and I both agree that it simply couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much Ishara.

Blessings to you from us.”

A traditional Chinese wedding

From the start to finish, Ishara was very informative and friendly. She attended to our needs with sincerity and respect. We were glad she got to experience our Chinese Tea Ceremony. She made our day special, and although the weather was very unpredictable, Ishara handled our requests well. Thank you.

A multi-cultural wedding with a Chinese bride in Fremantle WA

We had a really lovely morning wedding at the Little Creatures deckbar on Fremantle harbour in July 2013.

Ishara was a fantastic celebrant, and helped us plan the event thoroughly and in a way that enabled a peaceful and joyful ceremony.

Ishara’s calm and friendly demeanour put everyone at ease and our guests reported that it was one of the nicest ceremonies they had ever attended. Jean says to send her thanks in particular, and recommends Ishara as an impressive celebrant who may be particularly good for multicultural celebrations.

Wedding at Ellensbrook Homestead, Margaret River

“I knew from the moment we decided to get married that I wanted Ishara as our celebrant.”

“I have seen her hold a few different spaces and she always made them feel completely safe and special. I was thrilled when she agreed to be our celebrant and travel the distance to our ceremony space in Margaret River. She helped us plan our day perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with it.”

11/11/11 Wedding at Araluen

Married by celebrant Ishara in Araluen Botanic Park, Perth WA We were super thrilled to have Ishara as our wedding celebrant. From start to finish she made us feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. We felt like she really understood our needs and with the pre-meeting we had, put together a unique and meaningful ceremony.  Ishara’s warm welcoming nature was well appreciated during the rehearsal due to pre-ceremony jitters. We had the most amazing ceremony, one we will have fond memories for years to come. Thank you Ishara for your professionalism and creating such a beautiful ceremony for us both!
